Our Shimmer Rose is a delicate peach color with warm pink tips on the external petals. This warm, beautiful rose is grown at our farm in Ecuador, which is the perfect environment for growing such a delicate flower.
Each bunch of roses contains 25 stems, but are packed in two layers to protect their heads during shipping. It may appear from above that you only have 12 roses in each bunch, but when the package is opened the other 13 roses will be tucked inside.
Your rose may arrive soft and wilted, but this is another precaution to help them ship. Process the rose with a fresh cut of their stems and place in water mixed with flower food. Once the rose has hydrated, the bloom will perk up and begin to open to its full-size.
All roses arrive with what growers and florists call “guard petals.” These serve to protect the rose head while traveling and might cause the outside of the rose to look bruised or discolored. You may need to remove up 2-8 guard petals per rose to reveal the healthy rose petals underneath.
